  1. Theodore to Washington will have the most impact! NEGATIVE IMPACT! Now the Caps have to score an extra goal a game to win. Theodore will be a bust in Washington!

  2. As a Devils fan I hope Rolston has the most positive impact, and in the same breath I hope Nasland has the least!!!

  3. Non of the above

i will say Miro Satan in Pittsburgh, based on the fact that he is going to be on Sidney Crosby's wing.

    Worst: Jeff Finger

  4. biggest impact: pavol demitra

worst signing: rob blake - not worth five mil at his age

  5. I would say Campbell will have the greatest impact.

I can tell that Huet, Ryder and Streit, although good players, are all overpaid for their capabilities. I feel especially bad for the Islanders. Streit is a great guy, awesome team player and has a good head on his shoulders. Unfortunately his numbers are mis-leading. He's being called a PP specialist, same as Sheldon was the year before. They both played the same spot, and the numbers for both were boasted thanks to the Markov/Kovalev connection. Inevitably they would receive great shooting chances with the defense splitting across the ice to cover Markov and Kovy, or would pick up assists...hence the big number on the PP.

SO just like Edmonton last season (picking up Sheldon from Mtl), the Islanders will be bitterly disappointed when they see Streit's numbers plunge without the right players around him. And at $4.1M per year, they will be looking for a similar year from Streit as last year.

  6. Biggest Impact Jason Smith- Senators

  7. I am going to say it is one of the unknown, and so called "dirtier" players in the game. I believe it will be Sean Avery from the Rangers to the Stars.

  8. I am going to go with Campbell & Huet.  No big reasons other than the obvious.  High price to pay to make it to the playoffs and not get a Cup, but who knows... maybe the Hawks will have a miracle. lmao!

Mark Streit for the worst....good thing you kept him on the bottom of your list...where he belongs.

You have made many good points in your additional comments, BTW.

Edit:  I hope you have a great time on your vacation.  It is always fun visiting the folks.  Free food, free beer, and no guilt, lol.
