I'm doing research for a book I'm writing, and the medicine bundle plays the key role, need to know which tribes have them so I can write within that tribes' cultural identity and norms. It is a modern day mystery involving a missing medicine bundle and how it's returned to the proper hands. I know that some prehistoric tribes had such bundles, but unknown about modern tribes. Any help would be appreciated very deeply.

  1. Do we get royalties?

  2. they are there but you will never see or hear of it. Sorry wrong tribe.

  3. Many diverse tribal groups still use the tradition of Medicine bundles. Usually those still living on reservations that have spiritual centers focused on their identity. Most of these groups will not discuss their beliefs and practices with outsiders. There are so called Native American Teachers, both men and women that provide teachings to non Indians doing ceremony, sweat lodges, and vision quests for non Indians. Most real Native American spiritual leaders identify these people as belonging to the Wannabe Tribe. These people also charge money for their services and have been involved in several different money making scams. Check into the great number of research done on the Greater Sioux Nation for information about individual tribal practices.
