What 250 four-stroke should i get?

i'm looking at the Rmz 250, yz250f, kx250f, or crf250r. it will be mostly for trail riding but in a couple of years i plan on starting racing.

15 years old

155 lbs.

5ft 8in.

been riding since i was 9

I would go with crf or rmz ANYTHING BUT YZF

Dont listen to "Dizzel", the yzf's are by far the best.

there all good but i love my KXF, you cant go wrong with any of the ones listed though.

You really could not go wrong with any of the 4 stroke 250cc's you have listed.  Yes there are some things better on one than the other, but unless you are full on racing you really would not notice the difference.  Just concentrate on getting the best deal you can for one and by the time you are ready to race you will most likely be due for a new bike anyway and will have a better idea of what things you prefer in a bike.

My sons race the crf250r and they have had no problems with the bike.

their's no real difference everybody has their own preferences the differences are so minute they all have close to the same performance and reliablity the real question is what is your favorite color

u should get the crf250r  wr250 or the kx250

They are all great machines, I race the CRF, but the KX-F has gotten the best reviews this year. It would especially be good for trails since it has the smoothest power and best low end of the 2008 250F's.
