What 250r motorbike would be the easiest to maintain and last the longest and the most reliable?

a yamaha yzf250r,honda crf250r,kawasaki klx250r,suzuki drz250r ??????? i want a second hand one that is light and strong but i dont need lots of speed i using a 250r to do fun motocross, trail ride and just jump and stuff round but what 250r do i need???????????

lets see. either the yzf250 or the crf250, the klx250 and the drz250 are not even the same type of bike as the yzf and the crf.

the yzf250 and the crf250 are race bikes. they're designed for racing.

the drz250 and the klx250 are for trail riding; the crf or the yzf would kill either one of those in a race.

if you mean the rm250f and the kx250f, the crf250 and the yzf250, the yamaha or honda is the way to go.

Honda crf 250's. They are un killable. honda 4 strokes have had reputations for being great bikes. they are reliable, strong and work for all the things you said you wanted to do. don't look at kawasaki's. there 4 strokes have too many problems. yamaha is just as good as honda. and suzuki and ktm are about the same. KTM's are pricey. even used bikes aren't cheap. Look for CRF 250R, YZF250, RMZ250, or whatever ktm has. i'm not into ktm's so i don't know too much about them. Also look for a Honda XR250. they aren't as extreme as a CRF250 but they are good bikes that work well for trail riding, jumping,etc.

i have a CRF250r, i abuse it, ride it and forget about air filter, forget oil, forget valves, fll it up go for a ride, do it again, it's been perfect, just don't touch a 04 crf250r they are said to have valve problems.

In my opinion i would have the bikes in this order:

1 Honda CRF250R - by far

2 Yamaha YZ250F - by a fair bit too

3 KTM 250SX-F - betta than kwaka and suz

4 Kawasaki KX250F  ---

                      ---- about even

5 Suzuki RM-Z250   ---
