  1. drive a car powered by ethanol, if there were convenient fuel pumps and if they were priced lower. install new furnace and house hold appliances, what is stopping me here is the cost. and live off the power grid, need the money to install wind turbine. i guess what is stopping me would be money.

  2. From force of habit, most people leave the faucet running when they're brushing their teeth.  You're not even using the water and gallons of fresh water are just going down the drain.  Turn off the water and turn on when you're ready to rinse.

Replacing old leaky toilets with newer water-saving models is another thing most people can/should do.  The older toilets that most houses use flush approximately 3 gallons per flush.  The newer ones only use 1.6 gpf.

Buy/use a fan instead of automatically turning on the AC when the weather gets warmer.  2-3 fans will use a lot less energy to run than 1 air conditioner.

Set your computer to hibernate mode instead of leaving it on all day/night.  Even though you may have a screen saver on, it's still using energy as long as the computer is powered on.  This will save tons of electricity.

  3. Only 3, that's tough.

1- reduce waste- reusable bags, less packaging, buy only what you need, etc.

2- conserve energy- adjust thermostat, insulate, use natural light, use human power when possible ( no electric can openers)

3- reduce food miles- grow at least 1 food item, shop at farmers markets, look for local produce and other food products.

    OK, I can't do just 3 so,

4- detox your life- go organic in food and clothing, natural cleaners and beauty products.

  4. when you're finished in a room turn off lights

    don't drive so much

    RECYCLE

  5. why is everyone giving people thumps down.

    heres what i do.

    take shorter showers

    walk to stores.

    recycle.

and i melt down old metal(cans basicly scrap) and make new stuff :D

  6. Recycle

    Don't drive

    Limit shower time

  7. recycle whatever i can, turn off lights when im not in the room, conserve water!

  8. conserve water in the shower, use plants that don/t require watering, stop fertilizing and spraying pesticides over every green thing, recycle, donate used items, use rechargeable batteries.

  9. I would:

    1. Drive a solar powered electric car to do my daily routine.

    2.  Install Solar Panels and Wind Turbines on my house and use that for electricity (Energy storage first)

    3. Recycle my trash so it dosen't go to the landfill.

Bonus: I would also install low flow shower head, surge protecters, use rechargeable, batteries, and use all the thing I need to go Green.

I' am doing all I can in order to do my part to save Earth's enviorment.
