i have this big birthmark on my left thigh... and i've always covered it up..i hate showing it. we're having a recital next week in dance that requires me to wear a weird funky dress which shows it.

is there a make-up thick enough that'll cover my birthmark?

oh yea, that is also cheap... =)

  1. concealer/foundation would work. maybe liquid based, and then a powder on top to seal it.

the audience won't be able to notice the birthmark really anyway! plus, they would be watching the dancing, not your birthmark. (:

  2. Okay, here's what u do :)

Keep in mind, Walmart has VERY low prices so you can get ALL of the items listed below from them, or a local CVS, target, or etcetera. U don't need to buy the pricey name-brands to get good quality, you know?

First apply some concealor and then some foundation over the birthmark. Make sure it matches ur skin color or it will just make it more noticable. LOL. Anyway, okay. Than apply some powder on top of that and voila! The blemish is gone haha.

    Good luck

  3. can you wear stockings, like a litter darker than skin color to hide it a little bit. if the birthmark is dark then I dont know if a concealer would hide it completely but you can put the concealer on and then wear the stockings. I think that would help.

  4. DermaBlend is used for covering bruises, birthmarks, scars and even tattoos.  It works, and it doesn't rub off either.  It isn't cheap, but if you want something that works, it will be worth the money.  You can buy it at Ulta, and you can test it first.  The only other thing I can think of that is thick enough to cover it is Lancome's Teint Idole foundation, which is very thick and a full coverage makeup.  However, it costs about $45.00, which is about the same at DermaBlend.  Sorry, but there really isn't a cheap product that will do what you want.

  5. Concealer, but make sure you have some sort of setting powder that either matches your skin on your leg, or is transluscent or the concealer will wear off.

  6. conceler?

  7. I use Derma blend, it is thick enough to cover any skin imperfection. A little goes a long way. My birthmarks are lighter than my skin, it blends perfectly. It is available at JC Penny not sure where else they carry it is like between 28 -35 dollars.
