What's Better, Rollerskates or Rollerblades?

in my opinion i think rollerbaldes r easier and  more enjoyable, roller skates r for beginers so if u are just learning i would reccomend the rollerskates and when u have the hang of it try the roller blades :) hope this helps

Rollerblades are better! I have an easier time balancing and am able to pick more speed up with rollerblades.

haha I haven't rollerskated since a kid around 7 or 8 when I fell face down with my mouth wide open and cracked my front tooth on the concrete sidewalk, but oddly and very luckily it was just a hairline crack that was barely visible and only last year a tiny piece on the bottom finally chipped off when biting into the most expensive piece of bread I ever had cuz it cost so much to fix the little chip.

But I love watching women's roller derby (which I also haven't seen since a kid on TV) but I like rollerskates better because the sound is alot more thunderous to me in my mind than the rollerblades which I think is made more for speed but  less safe for those on the floor for such a sport because it's harder to balance.  I don't know which they use though in the college games but now you have me curious. I hope my husband and I can get down to see em one day soon cuz that's a great way and place for the big girls to really get down and dirty and dance dance dance.
