What's Bush doing?

As Rome was burning, Nero fiddled. Right now I would take that from Bush, at least to show he's doing something. Is he doing anything besides nothing, as our economy and the whole state of this country is going down the crapper?

He's actually asking people if they want to drill.  He should be taking out an executive order to drill, but NO, he won't.  We need to drill oil!

He is no longer in a position to do anything.  He has lost the House, so to say.  He is now in the "Lame Duck" phase of his presidency.  To say he is "doing nothing" though is silly.  There is something to be done every day even though it might or might not make the Headlines. Being the "President" of the U.S. one job with consequential authority that I would not want to have.  Hopefully change is soon.
