I think it's about this: Some people have been able to think the same thing that other people are thinking. So after years of this happening to people..someone decided it went beyond normal senses...since they are able to perceive things that most people couldn't . So someone decided to give it a name. They called it Extra sensory perception....or ESP. Now when this happens to others..they are able to identify with what happened to people before..and they can call it by a name..ESP (Just like when they give names to certain diseases or mental illnesses...only this is considered to be a "gift".)

I'm assuming you are referring to Extra Sensory Perception, a phenomena that cannot be scientifically corroborated. Often, I have been able to predict events; but, I don't believe my predictions have anything to do with ESP. By carefully observing and listening, one is capable of predicting certain outcomes.

It's one of the many things people believe in.They want it to be real so they convince themselves it is.Despite what the evidence and good sense tells them.It does nothing to you except make you feel silly when you figure that out.
