What's Europe's version of the FDA called ?

Is it of higher quality ? Who has the best of this type of administration in the world ?

  1. Europe has the EFSA as part of the EU. As with most things in the EU, it is a bureaucratic, cumbersome and slow organization.

    Most countries within Europe have their own equivalent of the FDA. These are able to react comparatively quicker and more effectively within their own countries than EFSA.

    As to who is best? If I was to guess, I would look towards the Scandanavian countries. They seem to have effective government.
