Does it have something to do with Yahoo? How old are most of the people that do it? Is it something like MySpace?

  1. Its pretty much like myspace except its more for college students or people who want to find people in there city/community

  2. Facebook is a fantastic social networking site, like MySpace or Friendster.  It's a bit different in that there are applications within it that users can interact with each other on.  You still have your messaging and other things, but there are also games like poker, role playing games and more.  There is a lot of photo sharing and interactions with your friends.

You don't do as much site personalization as MySpace, but you get more things to do on the site and with your friends.

  3. Its a social networking site. It is more fun if you have lots of friends with facebook.

  4. Facebook is a social site very similar to myspace. Except it has a cleaner look and different features. People are usually around the same age as the ppl in myspace. But there are more older ppl than myspace.

  5. Facebook is an online community like myspace, but much cleaner.  It has nothing to do with yahoo; it is its own thing.  It used to be that only younger adults and college students used it, but now facebook has grown to being used by people of all ages.  Some businesses even require their employees to create a facebook so that they can all stay connected. You are able to create an account, add friends, join and create groups, upload your photos and videos, and do so much more.  Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with your friends and meet new people that have the same passions as you.  I reccomend getting one.

  6. Facebook is a digital social networking tool.  It can be both fun and addictive but only if you know people who are already on it.

It is open to anyone to sign up but it wasn't always that way.  It used to be just for people enrolled in college, but when Mark Zuckerberg sold out to a major corporation they allowed anyone to sign up.

It's sort of like a cleaner more friendly myspace.
