  1. It's been a while, but the camping area is located behind a large sand dune with a walkway leading to the beach along a stream.  Some of the sites closer to the stream might have a water problem after a very heavy rain.  

    The interpretive center was very nice. Lake Michigan was nice, but there was a rip current one day.  I'm not sure if that is a usual occurance for the area.
