Is it still hot at this time of the year, because I want to hit to the beach. Is the water still warm in September?

  1. I'm pretty sure the weather is fine at both times.  However, August is the time of Ferragosto in Italy--a large percentage of Italians take off from work for an extended vacation, typically within the country.  This means that many of the beaches, mountain areas, etc. will be extremely crowded in August.  Additionally, some of the cities will also have a number of places that are closed down due to the owners being on vacation.  For these reasons, I'd recommend going with September rather than August.

  2. Still warm but not hot; should be even better visiting Italy in september for that reason and in order to avoid the crowd.

  3. In August could be still hot, September is better. As for the water, in September will be the best.

  4. its still warm this time of year. very nice..but the water, well,  the sea is not very warm. but it is tolerable. have a great time

  5. August is the peak beach month & September is even better because there are fewer people than August.

You must be from Miami if you like warm water during the summer. Just kidding - I like the sea to cool off and so when it's hot as all heck out cool water is the best tonic.

E-mail me and tell me where you'd like to go... and if I can give some advise I will.
