What's Largest Liveaboard Seen & Where?

Inquire because have read about a 20x100 foot ore barge

converted for inland navigation liveaboard that includes aft

greenhouse, pig pen, and various other novel features.

  1. I don't know of anything that big.  Most liveaboards I know go for smaller boats than that.  The biggest I know of is about 65 feet, a schooner rig.  It is actually a steel boat, about 20 years old, and quite beautiful, two cabins, lots of woodwork - and lots of work!!   This boat is in Florida right now, but was in Cuba when I first saw it.  The average liveaboard boat I know would be in the 40 to 50 foot range.
