What's Mix 94.1 about?

There are many stations that call themselves "Mix." We'd have to know where you live to determine the objectives of your particular local station. But generally all follow the same format of: "the best mix from yesterday, today and tomorrow" - thus "The Mix."

It's mostly pop songs from about 1975-present with  some newer up and coming potential hits. Some don't start until 1980, just depends on the city and what research has told them.

Presumably you're not in the UK as that frequency is reserved for BBC Radio 4 FM.

Which means it's not relevent on UK answers doesn't it?

Where I live, 94.1 is called 94.1 The Beat.  It's got tons of R&B and Rap music playing all the time!

Mix is usally a Hot AC station playing the best mix of music 80's 90's and today..

We had Mix 94.1 in san diego before it became My94.1 then Star 94.1
