What's Playstation Home?

One of my friends recently told me about a new playstation, which will be released in 2009.

She said it was called Playstation Home, and I want to know if it really exists or not so....

Does Playstation Home exist?... Lol.

And if it does, do you know anything about it?

It does / will exist in '09 when they release it.  It's going to be a user interface system if I remember 100%, but a good place to look for info at would be www.gamespot.com.

That is PlayStation's Online Network, to compete with XBOX Live.

It isn't a new PlayStation though.  Just their online community network.

Playstation Home does exist, but it is not a new Playstation OR a new user interface like a previous answer stated. And it will only be available for the PS3 to answer your additional question.

It is "a community-based service for the PlayStation Network which has been in development since early 2005". Similar to Second Life or The Sims, a user can create an avatar for their Playstation 3 console and receive a virtual space something like an apartment.

"In the future the service will also expand, allowing players to have more sorts of clothing or bigger apartments".

It should be available for free for anyone with an online PS3, but additional items such as clothing or furniture for their apartment may have a price.

We all want HOME! I mean come on SONY, you know all PS3 Owners want it.

Why are we staying mouth shut ? shouldn't we do anything about it ?
