Question:

What's SONY's HDNA?

I'm shopping for a new LCD TV. Sony is touting HDNA as a great thing, however the more I search it, the less technical information I find. I did find a lot of information on how they spent $100M on this marketing campaign, but is it all there is to it? Is there a value to HDNA?

Thanks!

  1. it just a marketing name. its in there DNA to make great HD products.

  2. HDNA is Sony's slogan of High-Definition and DNA combined. It is just talking about how Sony always creates great-looking high definition TV's. A.K.A It is in their DNA.

  3. Sony does it all, from cameras to production equipment to movies, to your very own TV set.....

    It's in their DNA....

Thus the HDNA marketing concept was born...

And they have been the Defacto Standard for years "doing it all"

I think that's why many TV Techs like them so much, they know the entire system has been built around the SONY equipment.

And with TV stations and networks using their stuff, you pretty much don't have to worry about poor design quality coming from their equipment.....

Sony...the ONE AND ONLY....(an older marketing campaign)
