What's Sussex, England like?

What's the land like? Are there forests, mountains, fields? Is it soft soil, rocky, what?

  2. Sussex is lovely!  No Mountains - but hills!  The south downs are beautiful for walking, cycling.  

    I think the land is mostly clay in land and more chalky towards the coast.  It's quite a large county covering cities to countryside so has a lot of variety

    Great paths and scenery across the cliffs of places like Seaford.
