I'm currently bidding on an item and someone else is bidding against me. How can I out bid him and get what I want?

ebays a sellers market you can usually get it cheaper on the internet by searching

If you can watch up until the very last second of the auction, its better to wait and put your maximum amount you would pay with 20-30 seconds left on the item.  If they haven't bid more than you, there's no more time for them to outbid you.

best way is to wait til less than a minute left and enter the absolute most you would pay for the item (including shipping). then confirm it and if its not the highest bid then either up it real quick or try again next time.
