What's The Deal With Ghana's New Oil?

Could somebody explain it to me? I know they found oil in the river between Ghana and Cote D'Iviore, but what river is it and what's some other things?

I think it's the Niger River alongside the Ivory Coast.

BTW, let's hope Bush and Co. doesn't send US troops to take over both countries to snag the oil out from under them!

They found oil which in the ocean and, production will start late next year to early 2010!
