An Australian friend of mine said that even Australians can't tell the difference between a New Zealand and an Australian accent. Is this true?

    It would be a rare Aussie who couldn't pick a Kiwi accent from a mile away and visa versa.

    Seriously for some reason Kiwis pronounce the letter i as u, they say sux instead of six for example. after a while you get used to it.  :-)
