Croatia seemed more technically gifted than our team, which is strange considering some of the players we have and how they should perform.

The belief within the Croatian camp is much higher than it is in the England camp. They have more confidence in the ability, they aren't one dimensional compared to our Long ball tactics.

They beat us at Wembley before the game had already kicked off, they knew we would just hoof the ball up field so they were prepared. Croatia can hold the ball up very well but at the same time turn that in to attack in an instant.

They have such a good mix of players that they can afford to change the formation and tactics.

England have better conditions here along with facilities (In the professional level - stadiums etc) but yet we cannot play together in a fluid way whereas Croatia could play short passes up the field and score a goal against any of the top sides because of their great footballing brains and creativity.
