What's The Simplist Way To Change Your Last Name?

so i know you can change your last name by filling out all these papers and having to change it on your birth certificate and SS and everything, but is there a way i can change it without having to go through that long process and not have to change all that, and exclude the marriage way

go to you're lawyer and ask him to change you're last name

you have to either do the paper work yourself or get an attorney, you can only get your name changed by going through the courts no matter what, if you want it to be legal.

you need the court docs.to take to the SS office, DMV ect...

Well, you can simply start referring to yourself with an alias. I mean, you can have people call you whatever you want. Just know that on all official documents you will still have to put down your original name. If you want official documents to reflect your new last name, you'll have to file a petition at your local court for a name change.
