What's Up With The Cubs?

Question

Are these cats trying to win the World Series or what!!? I noticed they were on top of the National League in wins and I'm impressed! Anybody can answer whether ya' like em' or not! Talk to me! Will they continue their dominance on their way to the title?

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but the Cubs look like they are easily the team to beat in the NL.  Everyone is waiting for them to collapse, but they've held on to the division lead almost the entire year, have had the best record in baseball for a good portion of the year and have had the best record in the NL the whole year.  Cubs hit a rough patch just like any other team in baseball does but when the Cubs do it everyone says oh here go the Cubs falling apart as usual.  The Cubs have a very special team here and have a very good chance of going to the World Series, but for now let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

The way the national league is looking i really don't believe there is anybody that can top the Cubs. They look like the team to beat this year. They have the top spot in the nationals and have a pretty good team. But with that said, there are a list of teams that could give them a scare. The Brewers look dominant with Sabathia looking like a stud its looking like that was the best trade of the year.(not to take anything away from the Rich Harden he should be pretty good as well). Another team thats catching some heat are the Mets, they look like they found their groove and are looking like they could keep it rolling. But the dark horse that the cubs should worry about are the Dodgers. yes, the Dodgers there are rumors going around that Mr. Blue Jay Roy Halladay wants out and the Dodgers are front runners. But, i still think the cubs are going to finish 1st in the NL.

Hehe, they are the Cubs and they are only 1 game up. They are dangerously close to blowing their lead. This is not their year. IM NO CUBS HATER! IM JUST A SOX FAN!

i wouldn't say they're dominating anyone right now, and they won't be dominant in winning the world series...they are my pick for right now, but a lot of things can change between now and the end of the year
