What's West Bridgford in Nottingham like?

I'm moving to Nottingham soon and need to find somewhere to live. West Bridgford is looking like the most likely place at the moment can anyone let me know what it's like? I'm 23 so want somewhere that's got a few nice pubs/bars, not too far from the city centre. Good transport links etc. Any info would be useful.

  1. West bridgfords lovely!

A very nice area and close to city centre.

Its got a few nice bars and pubs but like I say close to city centre and thats where the clubs are.

Buses very regular, every 10 minutes to city centre.

Able to get buses to most places from West Bridgford itself though.

Uhmm.. generally a very nice area, mainly consisting of professional people and not you're average dole seekers lol.

    No bad points to it!

Go and see for yourself! Most houses tend to be pretty big too..always a bonus!

Oh and a great 24 hour asda nearby that sells everything! WITH a mcdonalds inside.. bigger bonus! lol

Schools and colleges in west bridgford are good, plenty of local shops!

Email me if you want to know anything else.

Other nice areas in Nottingham to consider are:

    - The park

    - Redhill (Arnold)

    - Rise park

    - Sandiacre

    and so on..

    Depending on you're budget ofcourse.
