Question:

What's Wrong With my Computer? Why Can't I Download Games On it?

I've been trying to download games from sites such as bigfishgames.com and gamesocks.com and iwin.com but they won't download. It'll go through the whole process -- a window will pop up that says what percent of downloading it's at, then it'll automatically close because it's done downloading, but it doesn't download onto my computer. I've gone into the Control Panel and then into Add and Remove Programs to see if it's there, but it's not. How can I download the games? Thanks! :]

  1. you need to tell the browser to download the games somewhere you can find them (like your desktop?) then once they are downloaded, click on the to run or start the installer.

  2. You would not use  add/remove from the control panel to download a game.  I do this all the time.  You down load the game from the game site.  All you have to do is click on the download button.  It sounds like you are doing it.  The icon will show up on your desk top. It sounds like you are trying to make it harder than it is.  If you want to get rid of the program, then you use add/remove from the control panel.

  3. Could they be in the Downloaded... folder under My Documents? Hope this helps...
