What is a good MP3 Player that can be used with Macintosh OS X? NO IPODS. NO ZUNES. ANYONE SUGGESTING THOSE GETS REPORTED FOR SPAMMING.

And It has to hold a decent amount of songs an be somewhat cheap. Thanks. URL to getting one at Target or something would be appreciated.

  1. Any of the players made by Sandisk, Sony, Cowon, or Archos should work just fine with a Mac.  Sandisk's players are probably the most affordable of the bunch.  A few models I would suggest:

    - Sandisk Sansa e200 series (available in 2, 4, 6, and 8GB models and takes micro SD cards for additional memory)

    - Sandisk Sansa Clip (available in 1, 2, and 4 GB models)

    - Sandisk Sansa Fuze (an update of the e200 series, available in 2, 4, and 8GB models and takes high capacity micro SD cards for additional memory)

    - Sandisk Sansa View (available in 8, 16, and 32 GB models and takes high capacity micro SD cards as well)

    - Sony NWZ A 720 or 820 series (basically the same player, but the 820 series has built-in bluetooth, available in 4, 8, and 16 GB models)

    - Sony NWZ S710 series (available in 2, 4, and 8GB models and has built-in active noise canceling)

    - Cowon iAudio 7 (available in 4, 8, and 16GB capacities)

    - Archos 605 Wifi (more of a video focused player, but nice and Mac compatible)
