What's a Good Research Project for a Second Year Psych Class?

I'm taking a class on Research Methods in Psychology, and our instructor explained that we would be doing some kind of research project later on in the semester. The trouble is I'm running low on good ideas.

The project entails designing an experiment, collecting and analyzing data, and writing the results in a paper. Any suggestions?

Go to apa.org   They have their own search engine....and also a list of current topics.  Send some time reading...find something that interests you that you can modify/expand upon.  Keep it simple.  Remember research ethics when constructing this.  (meaning, don't come up with something that you can't actually do because of ethics)  Have fun with it!  Good luck!  (college psych prof)
