Question:

What's a Low-Calorie Drink?

I've been drinking Diet Coke for a while and I got used to it. However, when I figured out aspartame could be bad for me, I gave it up. Then I tried those drinks with Splenda, but then I found bad stuff about that.

Is there a relatively tasty drink, that is LOW in calories (I guess there's no such thing as a NO calorie, aspartame/Splenda free drink (besides water))?

PLEASE DON'T SAY WATER! I have heard of water (duh) and recognize the flawless nutritional value. I want something a little more tasty.

  1. I drink sparkling flavored water.  Or you can make your own flavored water by adding a bit of lemon juice or fruit juice.

It keeps me away from the diet sodas.

  2. actually, I heard some where but I do not remember where that low calorie, and diet drinks are linked to obesity. You are better off drinking regular pop.

  3. what about special K water? Or that new gatorade that is only 50 calories G2???? Some Crystal lights arent bad either

  4. uh sugar free lemonade

  5. water with crystal light powder in it.  my hubby does not tdrink water alone but he likes the crytal light powder which is low sugar and low cal.

  6. apple juice or pineappl juice

  7. Splenda is just sugar and sucralose, so it isn't that bad for you.  However, the CARBONATION is what's bad for your stomach lining!   ....  Make fresh lemonade/limeade, adding just enough Splenda or sugar to get it slightly sweet.  Add some mint sprigs - or iced tea (fresh, of course - not the sweetened mixes).   ...  Natural juices with a little tonic or seltzer water added to them

  8. pepsi
