What's a Schedule C From?

What is a Schedule C form? I own... well I am starting a small business, and I am a sole proprietor. I have asked several question about my EINm and people have mentioned the Schedule C form. Could you guys please clear up what it is, and what's its purpose?

That's the tax form where you enter your business income and expenses.  The net then goes on a form 1040.

You'll need these two, and a schedule SE, to file your federal tax return.  You can download them at irs.gov if you want to see what they look like
