What's a TONIC?

Something like that...

My grandma drinks it. It looks like water I guess.

What does it do for you? Does it clean out your system or something? Would it do harm to a teenager?

its tonic water.  its kinda like carbonated water, but i think it tastes really gross by itself.  it won't harm you to drink it.

its mostly used for mixing with alcohol, like a gin and tonic.

Does it have QUININE in it?  Quinine helps stop leg cramps.  And it is also used to flavor alcoholic drinks.  But I like it plain with a little lime juice and half and half with orange juice.

its like a really gross / flat tasting water most commonly mixed with vodka
