What's a better job opportunity, a TE carrier or an RCA?

This is my recommendation:

Get in any way you can.  In other words, if they offer you either a TE or RCA job,   TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!

Because once you're in, you can take the many different tests for different possitions, and you'll be able to transfer much easier as job oppenings become available.

the pay is slightly higher with the TE position, but they're almost the same and eventually, if you stay there long enough.

you'll end up with a position offering benefits.  (Just make sure you keep an eye on when there will be examination openings. because they only offer them a few times a year)

it only took me less than 2 years to get my own route with full benefits.

You might want to try the "Business & Finance-Careers & Employment" forum with your job/employment questions. That is the subject viewers of that forum are interested in. Obviously, few here care.
