What's a biology project for a highschool science fair.

Ok so i'm not really looking for something with the growing of plants.

This project will also have to be presented..

Also I need weeks to experiment.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I have thought about this over an over and cant come up with anything.

I've always thought that if I could do a high-school science fair project I would do it on the inheritance of left-handedness (more significant if you are left handed).

You could ask people who are left handed if their parents are, and if their grandparents are etc for as far back as possible. Then trace it on a tree or something.

You'd have to find a lot of people though

I would do something on bacteria if you have access to the equipment at your school, i.e. culture medium.  You could go around your school, or like, restaurants in your town, and take swab samples of like, door handles and water bubblers and stuff in the cafeteria and then grow the bacteria and see what you come up with. Everyone would probably be really surprised at what you find.
