I'm interested in going to an accelerated medical program when I go to college next year, and I was wondering if someone could list some that don't have such high standards.

Yes, I DO know that most of the programs require at least a 1400, I'm aware of that, but I want to know if there are any universities/colleges that have a lower 'line'. Preferably east coast USA.

  1. All accelerated only accept those with high grades and high scores--that's the idea, they don't really need the entire eight years because they've already proven they are capable of the work.  With a low SAT, you have not proven (if it is indeed low) that you are capable.  There may be a "line," but with the competition the line means nothing.

  2. Accelerated Medical School is quite competitive and requires an outstanding all-around academic record. Without meeting the minimum entrance requirements there is very little chance you will be accepted and even if you do meet the minimum there is a good chance you will not be accepted to due the competitive nature of the program.
