My wife and I are in a restaurant rut. We always go to the same places. Can anyone suggest a cool, interesting restaurant in, or near, Long Beach, California? Price range doesn't matter (too much), but we'd love a place that's imaginative in food or atmosphere.

  1. the Queen Mary ship.

    or the restaurants around there.

  2. The Crab Pot if you like seafood. They serve your food in a bucket and place butcher block paper on the table. Your meal is dumped on the table. The food is good and believe for the newcomers it's definitely a conversation piece.

  3. citysearch.com

  4. Not all of these places are fancy, but they aren't chains and they have good food. This is a list of places that will keep you busy for a long time.
