  1. dude go to dogfunk.com or ccs.com or thehousesnowboarding.com

here are some good brands dude

    burton

    rome

    k2

    ride

    elan

    forum

    salomon

    tech nine

    flux

    flow

that should help you dude. YOu want to shop for a "board boot and bindings package" That is the way u will find the best deal. or just go to your local mountain someone is always trying to sell a set up

  2. Not all Burton Boards are overpriced, there entry level boards and there jib boards such as the Burton Blunt and Burton Dominant are good value for money. As you are a new rider getting a jib type freestyle board would be a good idea as they are very easy to ride and progress on, and are great for rail riding and jumps. Some other good jib boards worth checking out are Rome Artifact, Apo Selecta, Ride Kink, Bataleon evil Twin, Capita Stairmaster, K2 WWW. Also definately dont go with step in bindings go for the regular strap bindings, some good makes are Ride, K2, Flow, Drake. Good Luck with the riding.

  3. Well ski sports are expensive, but burton is super-expensive, so unless you're super rich... Try Escape USA, they're okey and at a reasonable price. But you will not get a good board under 200 $. Never.

But then you got the fixations, the boots, all the gear...really expensive sport
