I'm thinking of getting a Tippman 98 Custom. I don't want an electric gun, and I'd rather it use CO2 than nitrogen.

  1. A decent all-round marker would be a Tippmann 98 Custom or a Tippmann A-5. Personally I prefer Autocockers or my Smart Parts Ion. But you really should use nitrogen, more efficient, doesn't freeze, works great in cold weather, and you have less spikes in velocity.

  2. i have a tippmann 98 and i decked it out to look like a G36 with a 14 micropolished barrel.... but if you want to get a real gun... though it's more expensive... go with the tippmann A5. i still wish i waited a little longer. A5's are kinda a c02 hog but they hit them the first time. you can reduce the co2 shortage from getting an airthrough stock from opsgear or online. if you want to deck out your gun to look like a sniper rifle or a ak 47 m4 ect. go to www.opgear.com.

  3. You should go with it. Tippmann custom are a great gun. One of the best outdoor guns i have to say, you can modify the gun to make it a sniper, machine gun or what ever. Make sure you get a 12-14 inch barrel.
