Every single Jodi Picoult book to me has been fantastic. I only read 4 but i will read every single one.

Out of that list i would read Hemingway first, Then Steinbeck... looks like an AP English reading list : P

cold mountain was a good movie, some bad parts, but whatever, umm, id suggest reading stephenie myers books. just hold out on your opinions on it until you've read TWILIGHT, and then if you like that go on.

Many good. If I could only name one I think I'd go for Catcher in the Rye by Salinger. (Could mention Amy Tan's book or Morrisons Beloved as well;)).

she's amazing!!! also, i have heard that the joy luck club is good.

Hurston, Zora Neale. Their Eyes Were Watching God. << that one is really bad... i  wouldnt recommend

oh, and i thought Salinger, J.D. Catcher in the Rye. was funny... kinda werid tho. just one of those books you have to read haha
