What's a free program to record in-game video footage?

I want to record my gameplay for an online game,what's a good free program to do this? Also I want to add my own music and edit it,what's a free way to do this as well?

I use to record my flash and online game with Total Screen Recorder.

Also it NOT free, but just $24,95. A small but valued program.

if your talking about xbox live or something like that then there is no free way to do that you would have to get a capture card they range from about $80-$250 it all depends on whether or not you want a internal or external capture card. sry there is no free way to make things like that trust me i have tried......
