What's a fun activity to do with kids 5-10 years old?

probably something like paper mache masks -

Blow up balloon - cover one side with vaseline -

apply strips newspaper dipped in paper mache medium - like mod podge - or elmers glue thinned with water.  cover only the side with the vaseline

do a couple layers and let dry - perfect out side drying weather = it's hot out.

crumple up the newspaper to shape eye brows, nose, lips, ears etc.

your last layers should be a smoth paper like tissue -  then let it dry thoroughly - 24 - 48 hours - decorate with feathers, fake fur, yarn for hair, scraps of material for collars,

paint - and then put on a talent show, or play, or parade with masks and matching costumes -

you'll probably have to help the younger ones a little more than the older ones - but have them think of a good character before they start =

first ur gonna need 2 break the kids into two groups

There are board games, coloring  books and crayons, 500 piece puzzles, Nintendo, game boy, xbox for inside stuff. If you want something a little more outdoors you can make bird feeders or squirrel feeders with empty coke bottles, straws and string. There are endless possibilities.
