What's a fun and not ridiculous thing to do when a teenager is bored at home?

Buy a DS and play Final Fantasy or Call Of Duty 4.

read good books, play indoor sports (chess, monopoly, etc) have a chat with your parents or siblings, clean your room, cook for the whole family, call a friend...

Nothing is ridiculous when you're a bored teenager.  Other bored teenagers may call things ridiculous, but that's ridiculous.

Do something you think is worth wasting time for, like being on Yahoo! Answers.

I got a few for you!!

1~ You can take pictures of your self and post them on myspace.

2~ Prank call people

3~ find where your parents hide things, that is really intersting, you find things that your parents took years ago.

4~ call friends.

5~ practice singing (that's when no one is home)

I am a geek and whenever I am bored ,I learn a new language .

We have many learn so and so language in 30 days ,so i just pick one up and learn a language .

You can also go on youtube and watch videos of people from different parts of the world .This is a nice video :

You can also go to wikipedia and search for random things .

If you are weird like me ,go to wikipedia and search for fairy tales .They are surprisingly interesting .

You can also try recycling old cartons and bags .

clean the house, redecorate your room, clean the toilet room (???, lol), music trip, experiment some recipes, cook for the family, gardening, sewing, call a friend over the phone, read good books / comic books, watch TV / DVD / CD movies, painting/drawing (if you're interested and have the talent), put make-ups on your face and model in front of the mirror (=p), do an artwork like recycling old materials in your home, wash dirty clothes, surf the internet, discover the old things in the basement/attic, eat, order some pizzas over the phone (then give me some), go to the mall, take a walk at the park, bath your dogs, play with your... cat (if you have one), sleep (x_x)...
