What's a fun splitcreen racing game for xbox 360?

i was thinking of buying forza 2 or burnout paradise city but...

burnout is single player

forza 2 is more a serious game

so i want a game that has the fun of burnout but the multiplayer and customization of forza 2

i was thinking i would wait till NSF undercover because there are cops, sweet customization and split screen

any suggestions?

I'd say undercover or Halo 3 because of all the vehicles. You can make your own race track with obstacles, explosions, etc. And it's quite fun :).

yeah, i think you should wait for NFS. its only a couple of months away, and the game is looking good so far, Carbon and Prostreet were terrible.  Plus, Forza 2 is kind of old.  They already confirmed that they're making a part 3, so i don't really see a point in getting it.   Burnout is fun, but like i said, i think its better to wait for Undercover.
