What's a fun way to tell my husband we are pregnant?

He is a cop, we've been trying for over a year...he doesn't have any idea yet.

What's something fun and memorable without being to weird or involved?

Ok!!! My dad is a cop.. My husband a fire fighter... So what you do is you go to a jewelry store and get a watch box like a long one that you would lay a very expensive watch in. and what you do is you take a pregnancy test ( if you havent done one at home or threw yours away) and you stick it in the box. Buy a nice bow and save it for dinner time and just slip it to him... Tell him something sweet like "A token of my appreciation for how hard you work, and what a good husband you are!" Let him open it and he will be so shocked and thrilled!!!

Take a pregnancy test right when he gets home. You can look out for his car and as soon as he pulls up go into the bathroom and pee on that stick! Lol. Then, put it in a box and slap a bow on top. Tell him that you have a gift for him and let him open it right in front of you. It would be cool to see his reaction.

I have came up with an idea to tell my husband when we finally get pregnant.  I am going to put baby booties in his work boots.  You could do this or you could hang a baby outfit inside his work uniform so when he goes to where it he will see it.  You could also wear a shirt or night gown that has something about a baby on it.  Another idea I have heard it so write in the bottom of a bowl "We are having a baby!" and then serve him dessert in it and wait to see his face when he gets to the bottom.

I plan on telling the grandparents to be by framing a paper that says "Picture to be delivered on (insert baby's due date)" in a picture frame that says something about granparents/grandchildren.

well my mom did this for her mom, it will prob work for ur husband, wrap up some baby shoes, and give them to him afetr u give him a dinner of baby stuff: baby back ribs, baby carrots, baby peas etc.

well i told my husband that i was feeling very romantic and that i wanted to go to a nice quiet and romantic dinner.  i also told him i had bought him a present. i chose a very manly gift bag and filled it in with baby shampoo, a baby bottle, baby socks and pacifiers all unisex and cute. after we ordered our food i told him he could open his present. i told him  that those were just some of the things we were going to need. he was speechless, then he finally stuttered "you're pregnant?", i nodded and he hugged me and i started to cry..

I have an idea!

If he's a traffic cop than you can tell all the people that he works with what you are doing so that you don't get in trouble for not doing anything, plus if you tell them it will probably go easier.

So you 'pretend' to speed (while actually you are just waiting for him to get to you by sitting in the car)

and the police people will send him over to like investigate and stuff. Then he'll come to you and be like "why are you doing this and this...." and then you can act all frightened and be all like "oh yatta yatta yatta.... and i was also speeding because I wanted to go to your office and tell you that IM PREGNANT!!!"

and then you'll live happily ever after! yay!

I heard a similar question a while back and one of the best answers I saw was:

The woman got a bun, hot dog, sandwich whatever kind and put it in the oven.  When the husband came home she told him that there was something sweet for him in the oven.  And when he opened it there was a bun in their oven.  I thought that was very cute.  

This is how I told my husband:

I have a 4 yo little girl from a previous marriage that he absolutely adores.  So when to my surprise I saw 2 lines I called my daughter into the bathroom and told her to go tell daddy "Guess what daddy?  I am going to be a big sister!"  And I sent her into my bedroom with the pregnancy test which I told her to hide behind her back until she told him.  I hid behind the door to hear his reaction but there wasn't one.  So I looked around the corner and he was crying.  Then he asked me if it was real.

However you choose to tell him I am sure that it will be a moment the two of you will never forget.
