  1. Inspiring... that depends.

Different to what? Want something really different and new or only different of what you used to listen? But what do you usually listen?

I'll try some suggestions. When I first heart reggaeton i said to myself "wow, thats inspiring and different" - but that was some time ago. I guess reggaeton isn't that different anymore.

A few months ago I heard a rock band, Skindred. Rock with reggae influences! That's different.

In a totally different direction you could try classical

    Chopin's polonaises,

Or you could try some Romanian composers:

    Constantin Dimitrescu

    Ciprian Porumbescu

    Enescu

Or you could try forein rap (I suppose you won't understand the lirichs lol) lik German Rap (Bushido, Sonny Black...)

    or romanian rap

They have a cover after "numa-numa dance" (O-zone - Dragostea din tei) . But since i'm limited to 10 links, more interesting is the Korean version too...

  10. Check out Rooney. They're a rock/sort of pop band with a really cool retro sound. Check them out at either www.rooney-band.com, or www.myspace.com/rooney

  11. Its all down to personal preference mate. I have a broad music taste so I will try and give you a few ideas.

Classic albums I think need to be listened to:

    For Indie/Rock:

Stone Roses - The Stone Roses (One of the best debut albums of all time)

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

    Kasabian - Kasabian

Chill Out: (These NEED to be heard)

    Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Fat Freddy's Drop - Based on a True Story (Excellent album. One of my all time favorites)

    Electronic/Tech/House:

Booka Shade - The Sun and the Neon Light

Anything by James Zabiela or Deadmau5 (you can download full dj sets for free at newmixes.com, a good start would be the James Zabiela/Booka Shade Essential Mix from Glastonbury 2008)

The Prodigy - Fat of the Land

    Syntax - Meccano Mind

One of the most original artists I have heard in the past few years is Jamie T. His debut album "Panic Prevention" is unbelievably innovative. Get on youtube or something and search the following songs to decide what kind of thing you like:

The Stone Roses - 'I Wanna Be Adored'

    Pink Floyd - 'Time'

    Kasabian - 'Processed Beats'

    Massive Attack - 'Teardrop'

Fat Freddy's Drop - 'Wandering Eye'

Booka Shade - 'In White Rooms'

Deadmau5 - 'Longest Road' or 'Will Fail'

James Zabiela - Glastonbury Essential Mix

The Prodigy - 'Smack My ***** Up' or 'Diesel Power'

    Syntax - 'Bliss'

Jamie T - 'Salvador' or 'If You Got The Money'
