Video games are really interfering with my schooling. Next year, I am going to high school but to get in, I need good grades now. But right now, my grades are kinda low due to addiction to video games. So, if you know any fun hobby that isn't very addicting please tell me.

  1. 1.  Collect your video games or consoles and put them in a box.

    2.  Take the box to your parents.

    3.  Tell them, "Don't give this back to me until all of my grades are B's or better."

YOU have to be the one who takes the first step to improving your grades.  Your parents' responsibility is removing barriers to you achieving this goal.

Then, consider taking up model rocketry as your hobby.  The building of a rocket kit is something that can help you focus, express your creativity, and most of all, have fun.

    Good luck!

  2. Look for something that makes you move around... that way you will not get stuck there. Find all the ideas here: http://newfreebooks.com/#websites

  3. STUDYING !! It IS addictive though !!

READING is one of MY big hobbies... I try to stick to historical-novels, sci-fi, and military. ALWAYS have a dictionary nearby while reading, so you can learn those words you don't know.

Seriously, perhaps you could take up history... the history of your TOWN... You have a computer, do the research, interview some folks, write it down.

I'm also into model building and model railroading... fun, but expensive on a large scale.

    GOOD LUCK.

  4. READING BOOKS, is a great hobby!!

  5. Stamp collecting. It's actually cooler then it sounds. Don't know if it will help with your video game problem though.
