What's a good 'who is good and who is evil' book?

Cliche' plot, yes. But my favorite.

An example would be Goblin Wood. Or the manga Superior.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I want books where both sides are not truly evil.

It is a perfect example of "is the evil character really evil?"
