  1. Time is a matter of position where are you planning on playing?  And age has to be taken into it.  Any time under 5.0 is good if you aren't a runningback or wide receiver.  A number at 4.6 o runder will usually get you a spot on the roster.

  2. For a center, not alot of speed is expected.  Most good centers who are drafted from college are in the 6'3" 300 lb range and run a 5.0 - 40.    Now if you take an outside linebacker (who is more likely to be 225), they run their 40s in 4.5-4.7 range.

  3. Again, I'm going to make the assumption that the poster is Canadian, seeing as this was posted in the Canadian Football section.

Speaking from personal experience, I'm not sure that there was anybody on my team who ran a sub-5.0 40-yard dash when I was playing high school football in Calgary.  And seeing how you're an offensive lineman, I'd imagine that anything under 5.5 would really impress your coaches.  To be honest, though, the 40-yard dash is far from being the most important drill for guys on the o-line.  I'd spend more time working on my bench press, and less time running the 40, if I were you.
