What's a good Halloween Costume for 2008?

For Halloween this year, I will be co-coordinating an event with a friend of mine called Noogiefest (Halloween Themed). It's main focus is for the children and teens to come together in the area who have been affected by cancer to have an amazing time, there will be games, food, etc. Unfortunately, her and I are unable to find the right costume for this event because we need something that the kids would notice and be amazed at. So if someone could give ideas, that'd be great. Thank you.

One year I was a helper in a 3rd grade class at school.  I don't know that the kids were amazed by what I wore , but thought it was really clever and funny once they found out.

Wear a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants (could also just use regular long sleeve black shirt), glue , with fabric glue, drinking straws, old candy wrappers, popped popcorn, random candy, chewed gum, plastic drink lids, drinking straw wrappers...etc..

And go as "The Movie Theatre Floor".

It was fun , not expensive, and kept the kids guessing.
