Ok, so my friend and I have been best friends since 5th grade. Now were going to high school and we dont have lunches together at all. we've been asking people around if they have any lunches with either of us and everyone has different lunches. so now we have to figure out a way to get the councelor to agree to switch our lunches so we could be together and not alone on our first day of high school. we need a good reason to switch my friend to my lunch...which is 5a 6a. this is the later lunch. im not saying that we dont want to meet new people its just that on the first day of high school all freshman sit with there friends and not new people. and we dont want to be the losers at lunch that have no frends...so please help and post a good reason to switch a morning lunch to a later lunch. thanks!

  1. wow were wierd

  2. try to switch a class that will take the place of that lunch period.

i doubt that they will let you change your lunch period just because you want to be with your friend, even though you're not going to tell them that.   my school has maybe 5 lunch periods and some kids don't even have lunch so you'll live if you cant get it changed.

  3. Social interaction....

Tell her because of have new lunch times you have a lack of social interaction and that may harm your development as an adult.

  4. lol, there's maybe a reason why you guys don't have the same lunches...so you can meet more new friends. just because other people sit with friends doesn't mean you have to be the same as they are.

if you're feeling lonely, go find someone who is sitting alone and sit w/ them. engage into a convo and you'll be fine. you'll probably be surprised that they're not only freshman but an upperclassmen.

but if you're desperate to have the same lunch, see if you can change your schedule...

  5. your lunch sucks...

  6. lunches are usually based on the class you have during/before/after (depending on your school) lunch. so either you or your friend can try and switch your class.

  7. There is no point to switch lunches. We all go through this. Everyone always treats the freshman like c**p anyway. So, what difference does it make? But, a good reason to change your lunch to a later time is to tell them that your family has a large breakfast together every morning before school. You can't possibly eat that early after a big breakfast, could you?
