What's a good animal to be obsessed with?

Not a dog or a cat or anything common please!! I was thinking a koala bear but I am not sure...have any ideas?

Well, what do you like.  If you want to own something exotic, some reptiles are really interesting.  I'm into water creatures and find the stingray very cool or the sharks.

Hedgehogs.  My daughter is crazy about them... and they are legal pets, at least in most states.

chinchilla,lizards,gecko,salt water fish are cool even better if there is a lot of them,something rare,but no monkeys! they can get dangerous as a pet good luck!
